The Cedar Street Mennonite Church is a place of help, healing and hope. We are passionate about living life fully by building stronger families, expanding meaningful friendships and developing an everlasting relationship with God. Our goal is to recognize, know and share the love of God through the teaching of Jesus. He said, “…I have come that they (us) may have life and have it to the full.” John 10:10
Perhaps you have never been to church, or it has been many years since you were in a church. Perhaps you do not know anything about the Bible or who Jesus is. You are welcome. We are a group of people on a journey to know God, and we welcome all seekers to join us.
Many times, we think of God only when we have a special need. We get sick, we have a financial crisis, our companion or a close friend dies or rejects us. We know we need help, and only God can help us. If that is your experience, come and join us at Cedar Street Mennonite Church.
Our congregation believes in a loving God, who answers prayer and helps us through difficult times in life. As such, we enjoy praying for people who are seeking help from God.
We are an inclusive community and provide a welcoming, respectful and nurturing sanctuary for all people of goodwill--all ages, all nationalities, or any other “differences” you might imagine--for we know we are all beloved and deserving of God’s wisdom and love.
There’s even a coffee break to make it easy to engage in a bit of conversation and get to know us. All you need do is enter our doors, and you will find that we are family.
Blessings,
Rev. Larry Lehman
